Introspector was created to serve as an alternative to the predominant punk/metal scene of Susanville, Ca. Introspector was formed by guitarist David Cheney and music enthusiast Spencer Duncan. The band was formed under stressful conditions considering the band had a spot booked at the local Battle of the Bands in two weeks time. The original lineup consisted of David Cheney on guitar and vocals, Spencer Duncan on bass, Mike Bingham on lead guitar, and Arick Jefferies on drums.
