Jamar Rogers received a golden ticket to Hollywood on FOX's "American Idol 8." Jamar Rogers auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri. Jamar Rogers sang "California Dreaming" by The Mamas and The Papas for his audition. All four judges voted yes to send Jamar Rogers to Hollywood where he made it at least through the group round. Jamar Rogers is best friends with fellow contestant, Danny Gokey. In the end he did not make the top 36. Jamar Rogers is now currently competing on NBC's "The Voice" for Team Cee Lo.
