Jay Chou's 2020 Concert History

Jay Chou (born January 18, 1979, in Linkou, Taiwan) is a singer-songwriter, record producer, actor, and television personality. He is nicknamed the "King of Mandopop," a subgenre of Chinese popular music ("C-pop") performed in Mandarin. After appearing in "Super New Talent King" in 1998, Chou was hired as a contract composer by Jacky Wu, the show's host. In 2000, he released his debut solo album "Jay." His sophomore album "Fantasy" followed in 2001 and was the first of four to consecutively top the Singapore albums chart. "November's Chopin" (2005), Chou's fifth album, was the first to top the charts in Taiwan. That year, Chou began his acting career with a role in the Hong Kong-Chinese "Initial D". Three years later, his eighth album "Capricorn" (2008) reached number one in Hong Kong. In 2022, he released his fifteenth album "Greatest Works of Art".
