Jayne County Concert History

Jayne County was originally known as the singer of Wayne County & the Electric Chairs one of the original first wave of punk bands from the 1970s NYC scene. The band was headed by a Georgia-born transsexual who named herself Wayne County after the Michigan county that the proto-punk act MC5 hailed from, only to later change her name to Jayne County.
