Jeezy, formerly Young Jizzy and Lil J, was born Jay Wayne Jenkins on October 12, 1977 in Columbia, South Carolina. The 46 year-old rapper first achieved mainstream success with 2005's "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101" in 2005, his first album to be released by Def Jam South. It peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and was followed by two consecutive number-ones: "Thug Motivation 102: The Inspiration" (2006) and "The Recession" (2009). Some of Jeezy's most popular songs include "Soul Survivor" (featuring Akon) "Put On" (featuring Kanye West), "F.A.M.E." (featuring T.I.), and "Lose My Mind" (featuring Plies). He married Jeannie Mai on March 27, 2021. They had their first child (Jeezy's fourth) on January 11, 2022.
