Jesuit were a metal and sludge influenced hardcore band from the Virginia Beach area. The lineup included, among others, Nate Newton (of Converge, Old Man Gloom, Doomriders fame) and Brian Benoit (who later joined The Dillinger Escape Plan). The band had several releases on Hydrahead and Reservoir records and toured with bands such as Botch before calling it a day.
