Joanne Pollock has been performing her unique brand of future-pop for four years. In that time she has released two EPs, one album with her band Poemss (featuring Venetian Snares) and one critically acclaimed solo album, Stranger (Timesig/Planet Mu). Stranger received a 9/10 rating from Exclaim! who commented, “Pollock never shies away from the unconventional. Yet, there’s enough warmth, folk, pop and soul here to satisfy listeners of virtually any stripe.
