Joe Russo's 2011 Concert History

Joe Russo is a drummer who rose to prominence as a member of the Benevento/Russo Duo alongside keyboardist Marco Benevento. Together, they formed the duo in 2001. After separating from the duo in 2009, Russo formed Further with Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Jay Lane, Jeff Chimenti, and John Kadlecik. In 2013, Joe Russo formed Joe Russo's Almost Dead with Benevento, Dave Dreiwitz, Scott Metzger, and Tom Hamilton. The following year, Furthur disbanded and in 2017 the Benevento/Russo Duo reformed. Additionally, Russo has regularly toured with Shpongle and performed with many other bands including Younger Brother and the Gene Ween Band.
