John Maus (born February 23, 1980 in Austin, Minnesota) is an American composer and a former lecturer in political philosophy and theory at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. He has released six studio albums and numerous demos. He has performed with Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Holy Shit and other bands such as Panda Bear.
