Jonathan Fire*Eater's 1996 Concert History

Jonathan Fire*Eater was a New York City-based indie rock band originally from Washington DC. The line-up was Stewart Lupton (vocals), Tom Frank (bass), Paul Maroon (guitar and pedal steel), Matt Barrick (drums) and Walter Martin (organs, keyboards). After the band's break-up in 1998, Maroon, Barrick, and Martin went on to form The Walkmen with Peter Matthew Bauer and James Hamilton Leithauser of The Recoys. During the band's existence, the group released two studio albums, a self-titled debut album in 1995 and "Wolf Songs for Lambs" in 1997.
