Josef Brinckmann Concert History

Late 20th century, Josef Brinckmann toured and recorded in bands including “Feather” (1975-1978), “Snapshot” (aka Spiders) (1979), “Defectors” (1980-1989), “Zendiks” (1987-1988), “нет” (nyet) (1988), “Penelope Houston Band” (1988-1999), “Those Darn Accordions” (1989-1990), “Wasrael” (aka Tribe) (1990), and “Josef Brinckmann and the Conspiracy of Equals” (1990-1993). As a studio musician, Brinckmann performed on recordings of the Bedlam Rovers, Connie Champagne, Jim Campilongo, Looters, Patty Larkin, Penelope Houston, Sachiko, Sea Hags, Steve Yerkey, and Tom Waits. Brinckmann performed on movie soundtracks including an Alex Vargas film “Esta Nocha,” a Jim Jarmusch film “Night on Earth,” and a Scott Crocker film “The Understudy.”
