Joy Dennis is a vibrant, young R&B/ Soul/ Jazz singer/ songwriter from Jacksonville, FL. Raised by her mother, the singer spent many of her younger days in the west Jacksonville neighborhood of Mixon surrounded by generations of family members. Following in the footsteps of her grandmother, Joy developed a passion for music at an early age, influenced by artists such as Jill Scott and Billie Holiday. It's no surprise, then, that she offers a throwback retro sound to complement her powerful voice.
