Julia Deans is New Zealand singer/song writer. Her voice is embroiled with serenity and crystal clear elegance. Her debut solo album Modern fables was released in June 2010. Modern Fables is drenched with soft vocals and beautiful lyrics. She is known for her bitter-sweet folk style lyrics. Modern Fables was warmly received in New Zealand on 2011. Julia Deans was the singer/guitarist for Wellington-via-Melbourne band Fur Patrol for 14 years. She has not broken up with the band in order to perceive her solo career.
