Vuonna 2004 perustettu Kaikukasti debytoi helmikuussa julkaisemalla Stupido Recordsin kautta albumin, jolla se kertoo esittävänsä suomenkielistä proggaeta. Yhtyeen kertoman mukaan proggae on nimensä mukaisesti yhdistelmä reggaeta ja progressiivista musiikkia.
