Kalkyl is a songwriter and musician from Arvika, Sweden. His music can be described as emotionally loaded rock, though it has little in common with the american music that's called "Emo". The music has more resemblance to brittish bands such as Radiohead, The Cure and mostly fellow Swedish band Kent. The anthemic sound of U2 is also sometimes echoed. The songwriting is also inspired by Bruce Springsteen.
