Kandy Kolored Tangerine's 2012 Concert History

The band was formed in Copenhagen in 2006 and is named after the American writer Tom Wolfes article , The Kandy Kolored Tangerine-Flake Streamline Baby from 1965. The return of the predominantly English shoegaze genre in New York has resulted in several new exciting reinterpretations of the sound. Kandy Kolored Tangerine breaks the atmospheric genre up with more pronounced desperation, that draws lines from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Queens Of The Stone Age's desert rock, My Bloody Valentine and has elements of American psych.
