Karen Marguth is a jazz vocalist whose last album received a rare four and one-half stars from Downbeat Magazine. She was also listed in France's Jazz Magazine among the top 101 chanteuses of all time. Her upcoming album features sax great Richie Cole and is due out in summer of 2012. A Native of Livermore, California, she attended California State University East Bay. Influenced by the music of greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, she has performed with the Blue Street Jazz Band.
