WHEN THE OPENER,JEFFREY GAINES,WALKED OUT ON STAGE KARTER WAS BOTH INTRIGUED & INSPIRED BY THE ACOUSTIC SINGER/SONGWRITER.HE KNEW THAT THIS WOULD BE HIS NEXT MUSICAL CHALLENGE.KARTER DIDN'T SING...DIDN'T PLAY GUITAR,BUT THAT DIDN'T DETER HIM.THE NEXT DAY HE QUIT HIS JOB AS AN ADDICTIONS COUNSELOR,WENT TO THE MUSIC STORE & GOT A GUITAR & TOLD HIMSELF,”OKAY,LET'S GET STARTED.
