Keisho Ohno Concert History

Keisho Ohno (大野敬正, Born 01/12/1975 ) plays Tsugaru Shamisen, a musical style played on the shamisen, a string instrument of Chinese origin which was introduced to the island of Okinawa in the sixteenth century before reaching the rest of the archipelago. Tsugaru Shamisen, from the north of the island of Honshu, is a style with more rhythm than classical shamisen. Keisho Ohno mixes the traditional techniques of this art with current sonorities, like rock or house music.
