Jerez Coleman, professionally known as Kidd Cole, is an American record producer and DJ from Prince George's County Maryland. He is perhaps best known for being the official producer signed to Compton-bred rapper YG, as well as ghost producing a string of hit singles, Cole's production style has been described as a up-tempo, club oriented, catchy yet rudimentary melodic hip hop style. This style has snowballed into a subgenre of West Coast hip hop, which he calls "ratchet music".
