knifewound was born in march of 2006 through a chance meeting. two members, ted and tj had been in local metal and extreme acts in the wichita area for a few years however they found drummer brandon through an online message board citing they wanted to play fast and loud. brandon had recently moved to the area and had been in numerous punk and metal bands previously in denver and he shortly contacted the two about meeting up and starting up a band.
