Ladderlegs formed in 2008 and is based out of Boston, Massachusetts. Band members include Ben Farley aka Packrat (guitar, vocals), Eric Stewart aka Ghost In My Basement (guitar, vocals), Olivia Close (formerly of Ralph Eats Dynamite, bass, vocals) and Patrick Cassidy (drums, vocals). Ladderlegs released their first EP, Climb Well, in November 2009. It was recorded at Friendly Square by Abram Taber on October 24, 2009, direct to two track tape. Their second EP, Approach This Once, was released during their third tour in July 2010.
