Born and based in Melbourne, Nick Martyn (Las Mar) has spent a lifetime creating, absorbing and experimenting with sound. Becoming a pro drummer at age 18 he toured the world playing jazz, world, soul and rock music with bands headlining festivals and tinkering in experimental basement jams alike. He’s worked with artists as diverse as Clairy Browne & The Bangin’ Rackettes, Husky, Unified Gecko and Daniel Merriweather. Needing a creative outlet to call "home"...
