A Philadelphia transplant from Chicago, Lauryn Peacock has had the privilege of playing with Jeff Tweedy of Wilco and the Philadelphia-based band mewithoutYou, along with many other great songwriters and punk and rock bands, both local and from the midwest. While earning her masters in the Philosophy of the Arts at the University of Pennsylvania, Lauryn has now found the time to complete her own first full-length recording, 'Pauw,' titled after her first stage name - the word is Flemish for 'peacock.
