Lea Grant's 2013 Concert History

Lea Grant’s piano-driven compositions are characterized by fantastically synesthetic lyrics, jazzy harmonic progressions, catchy melodies and above all, a gorgeous, crystal pure voice. Her songwriting & performance style conjures and synthesizes the pretty-cuteness of Regina Spektor with the musical depth & complexity of Joni Mitchell. Her approach to songwriting is very much colored by her classical training. Many of the songs feature lush, satisfying vocal harmonies and arrangements will often include flute, clarinet or strings.
