LLIONS Concert History

"Jarkko, Satu & Suvi started fooling around with notes and chords in the fall of 2006, but it was not until Matt came along in the winter of 2007 that LLIONS was truly realized in all its slow-core glory. Through much experimentation, the LLIONS sound has begun to coalesce around a few notable points of reference: the avant-pop of Sufjan Stevens, the simple folk of Damien Jurado, the bitter-sweet story-telling of Jason Molina and David Bazaan, and the beautiful melodies of Low anchoring the heart-swelling harmonies of The Free Design.
