Oakland, California's Long Thaw had their start in the early Fall of 2003 when Boyjazz guitarist Diego Snake indefinitely detoured Mister Forever's quest for inner peace with the simple, yet resonant, act of playing for him the odd-timed boogie woogie guitar run that would become the signature riff of "Come Taste It."
