Los Saicos's 2011 Concert History

Los Saicos was a band, formed in 1964 in Lima, Perú. Los Saicos was the first punk garage rock band, although they were at the time described themselves as a rock & roll band. Bands that would appear years later in U.K. and U.S.A. with a very similar sound never admitted to have been influenced by the peruvians. The Saicos themselves cited The Beatles and The Ventures as their main rock influences.
