In early 2008, LoveLikeFire signed to Heist or Hit records and went into Tiny Telephone studios in San Francisco with producer Bill Racine (Mates of State, Rogue Wave) to record their full-length debut, Tear Ourselves Away. The band spent one month there living and breathing the creation of the album. Many talented artists lent their musical strengths to the album including John Vanderslice who contributed his vocal talents on the track I’ve Pissed Off My Friends.
