Tonto is jesus recordings was created in the early 1990’s to document the music , art and writings of Leslie Mark Overland , heavy influenced by northwest DIY labels alike K Records and Kill Rock Stars. Beginning as a painter and poet , (LMO) resigned to bring melodies to his writings , composing soundscapes , dwelling on the sad song , eerie noise and relaying the effects of human experience . Releasing self-recorded , basement tapes and CDR’s , varying in themes and names .
