Marc Riley, affectionately known as "Lard", is best today known as a DJ on BBC 6 Music and formerly on BBC Radio 1, where he presented shows with Mark Radcliffe. He is however a veteran of the Manchester music scene in the late 70s and 1980s, most famously as guitarist with The Fall and subsequently with his own band Marc Riley and the Creepers.
