Mariama Goodman was born December 25, 1977, in England. She started as a dancer on The Ant & Dec Show, where she met fellow dancer Beki Onslow. Together, they formed the group Solid HarmoniE with Melissa Graham in 1996. They enjoyed mild chart success in Europe. In 1999, she left the group and joined established British girl group Honeyz.
