"Marvelous Toy is what would happen if Sunset Rubdown/Wolf Parade frontman Spencer Krug listened to too much Billy Joel. Pounding piano lines are front and center with various percussion and orchestral accompaniment helping round out the sound.... Chock full of joyous and upbeat tracks that will bring a smile to your day no matter how bad it’s been. Songs are inviting in a familiar way but at the same time like nothing that you’ve ever really heard before.
