MastodonRare is the contemporary hip hop and indie pop alias of Glendale, Arizona-based artist, R Craig Polson. He released his first mixtape, titled Apotheosis on Soundcloud in September of 2016 led by singles "Hello?/Run!" and "HCYK" which turned heads in the Arizona hip-hop scene and gained him respect from old heads and new schoolers alike.
