Somewhere out east, pretty much as east as you can go without leaving this isle, is the Southwold coast. A mystifying place…equal parts picturesque seaside town and desolate, barren frontier – largely determined by how kind the weather is feeling. Amongst the eccentric shoreline, raging waves and shiny pier is a beach hut offering respite from the chill wind – the sort that gives you earache.
