“Melancholy Blue” describes the bittersweet sensation of nostalgia; a longing for a return to the childlike joy and wonder that used to come so easily to us.” It follows then, that the sound of Mel Blue, the now London-based trio consisting of Oscar Sharah, Jacob Siles, and Luke Gerber draws heavily from this universal feeling. At once imbuing their dance music with retrospection and modernity, bringing the past and present together to create a sound that is as vulnerable as it is forward thinking.
