1. Meltdown was an American hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band was comprised of many notable names associated with the hardcore scene, including frontman Paul Swimm. Their sound had a large thrash and heavy metal influence, and they opened for bands such as Shipwreck A.D., who’s music contained similar styles. Their demo released in early 2006, and the Demolition EP came a few months later. The band returned to the studio a year later to record their self-titled EP, which released in the summer of 2007.
