Metsatöll is an Estonian folk metal band formed in 1999 by Markus Teeäär (vocals), Silver "Factor" Rattasepp (drums) and Andrus Tins (bass). They started playing epic heavy metal with great influences from ancient Estonian folklore. Their debut album "Terast mis hangund me hinge" (engl. Steel frozen in our souls) was released at that time.
