Michael On Fire's 2016 Concert History

Michael on Fire is a soulful songwriter and troubadour. He was born in Detroit, Michigan (c. 1950) and was clearly influenced by the soul and jazz of Motown. His lyrics are deep, reminiscent of Leonard Cohen or John Hiatt. Michael can be bluesy but there is a strong strain of hope and love in his music. As Tom Cochran wrote about his music: "Michael is a powerful lyricist painting images that connect with something deep in the psyche in a way that makes you feel you have known the songs and ranged over the emotion of them your whole life.
