Monica Pasqual is a singer, pianist, and multi-instrumentalist known primarily as a member of indie folk-rock band, Blame Sally. She has also composed award-winning music for film and other media. However, her solo work is different from these other projects. "This Cold Desire" finds her passionately singing atmospheric folk songs with elements of electronica and artfully crafted lyrics . Her pianistic, classical background and her love of folk music are both prominent.
