Moonrises's 2009 Concert History

Moonrises is a prog/punk/psych/free jazz trio from Chicago featuring Plastic Crimewave of longtime spacepunkers Plastic Crimewave Sound, and creator of Drag City's Galactic Zoo Dossier mag on guitar; Ben Billington of free-jazz titans Tiger Hatchery and Wasteland Jazz Unit on drums; and Libby Ramer on keys. Sublime space-outs change to propulsive noise-assaults on a dime, but with pained tunes buried in the muck.
