Murrieta was a SLC band known for creating a genre of music untouched by any artist. Composed of (first name) artists Keith (Guitar), Tom (vocals), Jeff (bass), and later Nate (drums). It was a mix between powerpop and alternative that created scenes of listeners. They broke up in the spring of 2004 after a dispute between the singer and the guitarist.
