Naima Joris begon als straatmuzikante en zong korte tijd later backing vocals bij Isbells in de AB. Het plan om in een mini camper met een gitaar de natuur in te trekken moest plaats maken voor een meer innerlijke trip. Haar innemende stem vertelt dit verhaal, vanuit het hart klinken de songs van de ziel. Naima zingt saudade, in een mix van gevoelens van verlies, liefde en melancholie. Haar repertoire bevat bevat zowel covers als eigen songs, maar steeds wil ze comfort en rust brengen, onthaasting in een verwarrende en onrustige wereld.
