The group was assembled by English singer Charli XCX and manager Emmie Lichtenberg, which was documented in the Netflix series I'm with the Band: Nasty Cherry. The group consists of lead vocalist Gabbriette Bechtel, guitarist Chloe Chaidez from Kitten, drummer Deborah Knox-Hewson, and bassist Georgia Somary, also known as Poodle. They are signed to Charli XCX's imprint Vroom Vroom Recordings and Asylum Records.
