Nathan Chan is a 14 year old cello prodigy, from Hillsborough, CA. As a toddler, when his parents took him to concerts, Nathan would become so excited by watching the conductors that he would dance and emulate them by waving his hands in time to the music. Assistant Conductor Sara Jobin noticed him in the audience, and under her direction, Nathan made his debut with the San Jose Chamber Orchestra, conducting a set of Mozart variations, at age 3.
