National Bird Concert History

National Bird was a Sydney, Australia based indie rock band active from 1999 to 2007. It featured Dileep Krishnayya (vocals & guitar) , Tobey Doctor (drums), and either zero, one or two bass players. The band's sound was influenced by indie rock bands such as Dinosaur Jr. and Built to Spill and the live shows were known for being loud, raucous and often drunken and chaotic affairs also. The band was originally named Laissez Faire but they changed the name after a line-up change and due to the numerous other bands also using that name.
