Navies was a Washington, DC post-punk band active from 2003-2005. Their sound is very angular, influenced by psychedelic rock, noise, free music, and dub. After self-releasing their eponymous debut, Navies released the An Estate EP 2004 and the House Ties 7" in 2006 on Lovitt, as well as a split 10" with A Day in Black and White on Level Plane in 2005.
