NinaMarie was founded in 2005 by Beatsteaks-drummer Thomas Goetz and Turbostaat-guitarist Marten Ebsen. They chose "NinaMarie" because Thomas wants to name his daughter Nina and Marten thinks he's going to name her Marie (they don't have any kids at the moment). Thomas is playing the drums and the keyboard, Marten sings and plays the guitar. Their first EP Scheiss.Taxi.-Scheiss.Paris. was released on 31 March 2006. The tracklist is:
