Obelija Concert History

Obelija. People from the Lithuanian region of Dzūkija remember this word as meaning a forgotten garden of apple-trees. The members of the ensemble believe that the songs of the elderly - just like the old apple-trees - are beautiful and can be revived for a new life. That's why the members of the band not only learn new songs from folklore books, but also organize expeditions in order to search for even more unheard songs, write them down and revive.
