Operation Error stepped on stage for the first time at the Rigger venue in Newcastle-under-Lyme on the 18th May 2007. Song writer and guitarist Shaun 'Wink' Winkle, vocalist Steve Ayres, guitarist Jonathan 'JP' Parsons, bassist Jon Gallione and drummer Mat Steele saw positive reaction to that and other support gigs around North Staffordshire and were soon at work in the studio.
